Taps
Taps
In most homes, the cold water tap on a kitchen sink is the most used tap in the property. Therefore, softening the water from that tap gives maximum benefits for most uses of that water, whilst at the same time improving the economics of the softener purchase. And having the choice of unsoftened water at the same time, offers a choice on every occasion.
Single Faucet
Available in chrome or brushed nickel finish.
If you have a normal sink tap and don’t wish to change it, you can add filtered water with a single faucet fitted to the side of your sink.
Water regulations require that a tap is fitted over a drain but, in cases where there is no sink, we can provide a drain to fit under the spout of the faucet, provided that we can run a drain pipe to a suitable outlet.
Double Faucet
Available in chrome finish.
A double faucet is suitable for situations where more than one new outlet is required, but changing a whole tap to a combination outlet (such as a Quooker) is not practical or affordable.
Double faucets allow two different streams of water, for example, it can be used for chilled water and sparkling water, or for chilled and room-temperature water.
Tri-flow Taps
The tri-flow (or 3-way) tap is designed to use at the kitchen sink and incorporate a normal hot and cold tap with a separate third tap for drinking water which can be filtered if required.
These taps are often recommended when a water softener is fitted, to give the user a choice, normally between softened and unsoftened cold water (the hot water is normally always softened). The unsoftened cold water can be filtered if necessary, and it is suitable for adding a chiller or a chiller/sparkling water unit.

Chiller Units
Chiller Unit – Small
Suitable for small families, this unit will produce chilled water between 3° – 6° C and will supply approximately 1.2 litres before the water warms. Recovery time is approximately 15 minutes.
This unit might require ventilation.
Chiller Unit – Medium
Suitable for larger families, this unit will produce chilled water in the range of 3°-10° C if the incoming water is no higher than 20° C and room temperature is no more than 25°C. This unit will supply up to 15 litres / hour with one litre taking approximately 40 seconds based on incoming pressure of 3 bar.
This unit will require ventilation.
Chiller Unit and Sparkling Water Unit – Medium
Same as Chiller Unit – Medium but with a carbonator unit that can carbonate 0.5 litres at any one time.
This unit will require ventilation.
Filters
We sell filters from 2 different ranges:
The Omnipure range is a simple filter system which allows the user to simply unscrew the filter and replace it. Filters are suitable for 6-month or 12-month use, making them economical when compared to other ranges and filter jugs.
The Pentek range consists of filters which fit inside a standard housing. The housings can be combined to make multiple sets of different filters. These filters generally last for 12 months in the UK but that depends on volume of use.
Water Purifiers
Reverse Osmosis – Pure Water
Reverse osmosis (RO) water purifiers provide exceptional water purity. The RO process removes approximately 95% of contaminants such as chlorine, lead, fluorides, bacteria and viruses, as well as unpleasant tastes and odours from water. The result is a highly pleasing, fresh tasting drinking water.
Traditional RO systems operate on mains water pressure using a semi-permeable membrane, which traps impurities and washes them down the drain. The pure water is collected and stored in a tank for use at a later time.
The downside of the RO system is the amount of water needed to wash away the contaminants; some systems waste 9 litres of water to produce just one litre of purified water.
Compact 75 RO Unit
The Compact 75 Water Purifier can produce up to 11 litres per hour of pure drinking water, using just 1.75 litres of wash water to produce each litre of pure water.
The Compact 75 has easy-to-change filter cartridges and includes a cartridge life indictor. Filter life is approximately 12 months. The membrane can last as long as 3 years with softened water.
This unit has a storage tank which holds approximately 3.5 litres and will provide up to 3 litres/ min to a tap.
Direct 800 RO Unit
The Direct Flow 800 system produces pure drinking water on demand at a flow rate of 2 litres per minute. The system monitors and displays both the feed water quality and the purity of the drinking water in real time.
As the Direct Flow 800 does not use a storage tank, there is no possibility of stagnation, temperature gain and tank failure/contamination.
Filter life is approximately 12 months. The membrane can last as long as 3 years with softened water.
