Who We Are

With over 20 years of improving the quality of water, our aim is to give you knowledge and allow you to choose which steps you wish to take to improve your home, time and finances.

We are an independent family business who are not persuaded by any one brand, and understand that each problem is unique and therefore are not tied to any specific supplier.

Our services cover taps (and sinks), water filtration from jug to Reverse Osmosis and softening water for any size of home or workplace.

The Fine Print

Chippenham Water Softeners is a trading name of The Water Softener Company Limited, which is based in Chippenham. Our Company Registered Number is 14806498 and the registered office address is 8 Sheldon Road, Chippenham SN14 0BN.

This business will use the trading names “Chippenham Water” and “Chippenham Water Softeners” as well as the formal Limited company name.

We use a computer switchboard and you may get menu choices, you may get an answering service, depending on when you might call, how busy everyone is and who might be available. If you call and are asked to leave a message, please say clearly why you are calling because the computer will try and direct the message appropriately.

Our email address is [email protected]. You may receive emails from individuals or from different parts of the group, but whenever possible, if you write to info@, you should receive a reply from info@ too.

Everything that we do is determined in law by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 which seeks to ensure that Consumers are treated fairly and that they have an understanding of what is expected of themselves, as well as what to expect from us. To that end, our Terms of Business are available to all of our customers and are automatically sent out with any order confirmation paperwork BEFORE a customer commits to an order.

As expected, the Terms include how to change an order, cancel an order, what to expect in the way of charges if part of an order is bespoke, when and how payment is required and so on. We do our best to not use paper for environmental reasons, so we do send everything out by email and we keep emails as our record of customer acceptance, satisfaction and when they arise, of complaints to.
